UNNA recognizes the importance of protecting your personal data. We have instituted strict policies and security measures to protect the information you provide us. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is for you as a customer of UNNA to learn and understand how UNNA processes your personal data.

2. Who is responsible for your personal data?

The Swedish company UNNAVERSE AB, reg. no. 556820-7897 (“UNNA, “we”) is the controller of your personal data. UNNA’s affiliated companies and selected suppliers may process your personal data on UNNA’s behalf and in accordance with UNNA’s instructions as stated below and are thereby processors of your personal data.

 

3. Categories of data processed, purpose and legal basis for processing

 

3.1 Contact details

If you make a purchase online we may collect your name, address, e-mail address and/or telephone number, country of residence, and date of birth. Not all information is mandatory for making a purchase. If you have failed to submit all mandatory information you will not be able to proceed and the mandatory will be marked in red on the Website. Your contact information will be used to (I) process your purchase and potential returns, exchanges and complaints you may have relating to your purchase; and to (II) communicate with you regarding your purchase and to answer and administer any questions or comments you may have regarding our products or services. This is necessary for UNNA to fulfil our contractual obligations to you under the purchase agreement. Your personal data will be retained as long as necessary for this purpose.

 

Your contact details may also be processed for direct marketing purposes, such as to keep you informed of events, promotions, or product news, via mainly email but also other messaging services. The legal basis is our legitimate interest of being able to market our products to our existing customers.

 

Your contact details may be used for direct marketing purposes for up to 12 months following your latest purchase on the Website. You can select to opt-out of this communication/reject our marketing messages at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in all messages or by contacting customer service at customercare@unna.com.

 

3.2. Previous purchases and returns

We may store information regarding your purchases and returns on the Website including product, size, price and date of purchase for up to 36 months after the purchase. The information will be processed to allow us to administer returns and/or complaints, provide you with a personalized and efficient service. The legal basis for the processing is UNNA's legitimate interest to facilitate the administration of returns, exchanges and complaints.

 

3.3 Credit card details

If you make a purchase on the Website and choose to pay by credit card you will be required to provide your credit card details for the purpose of making payment for the purchase. This information will be processed in order for UNNA to fulfil our contractual obligations to you under the purchase agreement. The legal basis for this processing is your consent. We will retain your data for as long as necessary for this purpose.

 

3.4 ID number

If you make a purchase on the Website and choose to pay with Klarna you will be required to provide your personal ID number. Your ID number will be processed by our payment service provider to be able to obtain a credit report and to facilitate your payment. The processing of this data is necessary for us to ensure correct identification of our customers for invoice purposes and to fulfil our contractual obligations to you under the purchase agreement. Your data will be kept for as long as necessary for this purpose.

 

3.3 Browsing data

UNNA will store information regarding your recently viewed items. This will allow us to provide you with a personalized experience when browsing the Website. We will retain your data for as long as necessary for this purpose.

 

3.4 Co-creators

If you sign up for the Co-Creator program we may collect your name, email address, sizing preferences, address, phone number, social media account details, and other information pertaining to movement and habits. UNNA may process this data to send you invitations to events and promotions, personalized services, profiled marketing offers and/or requests to participate in marketing research and surveys. This is necessary for UNNA to fulfil our contractual obligations to you in the Co-Creator program. Your personal data will be kept for as long as necessary for this purpose.

The Co-Creator program is entirely voluntary and signing up for the program is not required for making a purchase on the Website. You may opt-out of the Co-Creator program at any time by contacting customer service at customercare@UNNA.com.

 

3.5 Newsletter subscribers

If you sign up to receive the UNNA newsletter we will process your name, email address, country and preference in receiving news and updates connected to womenswear or menswear. You may unsubscribe to our newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link included in all newsletters or by contacting customer service at customercare@unna.com. We will send you the newsletter until you unsubscribe to the newsletter service.

 

3.6 Customer care

If you contact UNNA customer care with questions regarding orders, returns or regarding a complaint, the email conversation may be stored for as long as necessary to administer your errand, including following up on the matter during the following 12 months. This is necessary for us to fulfil our obligations to you under the purchase agreement.

 

3.7 Anonymized data

Anonymized data may be used for internal marketing and demographic studies to analyze, profile and monitor customer patterns. The purpose of this processing is to be able to improve our services and products.

 

3.8 Consent and withdrawal

You hereby confirm that you have read and understood the content of this privacy policy. You confirm that you agree to UNNA’s processing of your personal data in accordance with the privacy policy. If you should wish to withdraw your consent or object to any of the data processing, please contact customercare@unna.com. Please note, however, that your withdrawal will not affect our right to process your data when such processing is necessary to perform our contractual obligations to you, and/or to the extent we are required to process your data by law or to defend ourselves in a dispute, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to enforce our Terms and Conditions. If you withdraw your consent to any consent-based processing, we will cease all such processing.

 

4. Information sharing

UNNA may share your data with selected suppliers who perform functions on our behalf. Such function may include fulfilling and delivery of orders, processing payments, carrying out promotional services or data management, to maintain our website, to distribute emails, to send newsletter communication, to provide client communications and to manage our customer database. The personal data you provide to UNNA may be processed by these third parties as necessary, solely on UNNA’s behalf and in accordance with UNNA’s instructions as data processors. We do not authorize any of our suppliers to make any other use of your personal data.

 

If UNNA is subject to an actual or potential merger or acquisition or similar transaction, we may share your data with potential and actual buyer(s) and their financial and legal advisers, subject to such third parties undertaking appropriate confidentiality.

 

UNNA does not sell or rent our customer’s personal data to any other entity.

 

5. GDPR

If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to receive information on and access the personal data UNNA holds about you. You may also request that your personal data is corrected, updated, or deleted. To exercise these rights, please contact customercare@unna.com.

6. CCPA

If you are a resident of California, you have the right to receive information on and access the personal data UNNA holds about you (also known as the ‘Right to Know’). Your personal information will be stored as long as necessary in relation to the data collection and processing purpose.

 

7.1 Mandatory personal data

Mandatory data is necessary for UNNA to be able to fulfill our contractual obligation to you, for example processing your order or fulfilling the services connected to the Co-Creator program. If you have failed to supply the mandatory data you will be unable to proceed with your purchase or subscription.

 

7.2 Children's privacy and legal purchase age

UNNA does not wish to collect personal information from anyone under the age of sixteen (16). If you are under eighteen (18), we require that you inform and get your parents’ or guardians’ consent before purchasing anything or provide any personal data to us at UNNA.com or any other website related to UNNA.

 

8. Cookies

UNNA use cookies on the Website. In the following sections you will find information on what cookies we use, what they are used for and what choices you have regarding cookies. Together with cookies we also use other techniques such as pixel tags.
