Good Place with Betel
We caught up with Betel, our friend and cover star from the HOKA X UNNA campaign.
Living in Copenhagen, she's been a part of our constellation for a while now.
This time, we only asked her one question: Why do you run?
What followed was a little philosophy about movement, happiness, and being present.
So, why do you run?
Betel: I run because it brings me happiness. There’s something special about moving through the world on my own two feet. Wandering through city streets and slipping into quiet trails.
Betel: Running gives me a chance to explore not only the world around me, but also the landscape within.
With every run, I learn a little bit more about how my mind works, how my body responds, and what I’m capable of when I simply keep going.
Betel: When I finish a run in a good place, that feeling doesn’t stay on the trail. It carries over into the rest of my day. I show up with a lighter heart, a bigger smile, and a stronger presence for the people around me.
Running has taught me one of the most valuable lessons I know: how to be with what is.
Betel: Some days feel effortless, others messy and uncomfortable, but somewhere along the way I learnt that everything has something beautiful to offer, if I’m willing to notice it.
Betel: The art isn’t in controlling the experience, it’s in embracing it exactly as it is.
And yeah, that’s why I run.
That's it for this Good Place. Big thank you to Betel for sharing your thoughts with us.
